03/21/05 Customized Home pages (myYahoo in this example) display selected feeds:

Or, a cooperating website places code on their webpage that displays your feed via JavaScript snippet (which can be easily autogenerated here as a free dlmweb service): Seth Rogovoy's Blog. These feeds automatically update in real time whenever you "publish" a new article. Feeds to cooperating websites are especially valuable in increasing the visibility of your site in search listings. The more sites that link TO you, the higher your ranking for any particular seach string. The program I use for this service comes from http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/ and is open source programming. You are welcome to use my feed (a link to it is found on this page: http://www.dlmweb.com/news49.html) I'll continue to host this service for as long as I can afford the bandwidth. Obviously, my agenda is to induce inquiries about my professional services, Maricopa's server is getting hit pretty hard, and they are seeking mirrors, so if you have any technical savy and some bandwidth to spare, why don't you give their site a visit, and consider doing what I have done. Conceivably, since my little tip jar remains empty, I will have to discontinue this as a free public service, if I don't get a bit of feedback from those who visit here and use my version of the program (which relies upon the hosting server to generate the actual feed). I don't mean you need to GIMME A DOLLAR (although I wouldn't mind), but a comment or two, dare I say even a "thank you" would be appreciated. 8/5/2005  Hi, very good info for RSS 3/7/2006 thanks for the script.
