04/02/05 The Auto Shop on Railroad St. in Salisbury, CT (www.theautoshopct.com) has become the latest addition to the growing family of dlminton web services sites. Soon to have a content management system that will enable Steve Ohlinger's fine sales and services to be displayed easily and regularly, we are proud to be associated with this great family owned business in a special part of Northwest Connecticut. I am especially pleased to go from being a very happy customer to a service provider for these great guys. Just up the road from Lakeville, Connecticut, The Auto Shop (that's three words, on that beautiful sign, and two words in typography: The AutoShop) is quietly situated in downtown Salisbury, in the Northwest Corner of the Litchfield Hills . However you spell it, the clapboard sided garage tucked away near the Salisbury Winter Sports Association's Satre Hill Ski Jump takes a bit of looking to find, but is well worth the effort. Although their inventory of carefully selected Volvos and other fine used autos is prominantly displayed, in keeping with the Township's subtle and charming character it is not an "in your face" business. Having not had much visibility on the web, either, I am pleased to note that a search for "auto shop salisbury" and/or "autoshop salisbury" leads a searcher to my announcement of our professional relationship, which in turn quickly references their home site of www.theautoshopct.com. This is via Google for now, only 24 hours after I posted the "article", but that article of mine should also get into Yahoo's index soon. And before you castigate this webbie for blowing his own horn, this processs of talking about each other's sites is precisely how the web is woven!!! | ||
